Your role will involve:

- Review contracts and other project legal documents including responding to requests for contract amendments, advising Project teams and the Executive Board on risks in contracts and preparation of the correspondence to clients
- Prepare guidelines and forms for internal circulation
- Respond to internal legal queries and advising on appropriate contract forms and specific legal aspects in a practical and commercially focussed way.
- Lead or assist in the contract negotiations with the client or the client’s representatives
- Advise project directors and project managers on risks related to contractual queries arising within the projects
- Advise on and assist with internal governance and the preparation of the required approvals

The skills you'll need
- Knowledge of the legal issues associated with the business area
- Experience of working with leading law firms and other professional advisers or consultants
- In-depth knowledge of general banking law and practice and the financial services industry
- The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with the organisation’s businesses

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
