**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a keen interest in coffee and food preparation.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating basic maths skills.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
- Stay updated on menu items and seasonal offerings to enhance customer experience.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00-£12.20 per hour
