Security Coordinator

**What you’ll be doing**
As a Security Coordinator in the Protective Security Team the focal point will be monitoring the team's regulatory requirements and keeping them on track. In addition to supporting the Protective Security team in keeping TWUL people, premises, processes anddata security you be responsible for our in-house comms plan and business-facing media. Inputting data and producing ad hoc MI reports for business units and regulatory reports to Defra. Your core duties will include:

- Assisting in the administration associated with legislative compliance including preparing and supplying information and formal returns to DEFRA and other governing bodies
- Collecting, organising, analysing, and disseminating data, reporting back insights in a compelling and succinct way, supporting key team priorities and decisions through data, supporting operational teams to make informed decisions
- Ownership and management of databases and shared team spaces
- Supporting colleagues with effective data capture for both regular and ad-hoc reporting
- Communications - maintenance and upkeep of internal media pages and internal communications plan
- Supporting the testing and exercising of our regulated tasks
- Manage and administer Protective Security mailboxes
- £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
- This is a Hybrid role with 3 days in the office at Hampton Water Treatment Works, Middlesex and 2 days at home
- 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 08.00 am-4.00 pm with some flexibility
- This is a Full-Time position

**We’re looking for you to**:

- Have experience in a security support role or similar i.e. audit, compliance
- Have experience working in a regulated environment i.e. utilities, government departments, national infrastructure etc
- Have an understanding of physical security principles, methodology and processes
- Have experience working with large volumes of data
- Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power Bi)
- Highly effective communication skills to engage effectively and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Be highly organised to manage your own workload and prioritise
- Have a flexible attitude to be able to deal with changing priorities and requirements
