We have a position available as an **Assistant to the Café Leader** for our recently opened venture, the Farm Kitchen Café.

**Your role will include**:

- Assisting the Café Leader in the day-to-day running of the Café.
- Preparation throughout the day & for the following day.
- Providing clear instructions to the Café team.
- Training of the team members.
- Ensuring the Café area is kept clean & tidy.
- Covering the Leaders roll when required.
- Working closely with other departments for stock ordering.
- Taking orders via our EPOS.
- Preparing and serving hot drinks.
- Money Handling.
- Maintaining accurate records (Fridge Temperatures, Hot food holding temperatures, cleaning records).

**Skills required for the role**:

- Experience of working in hospitality in a similar operation.
- Competent in the use of serving quality coffee (Essential).
- A Friendly personality that customers will look forward visiting again.
- Health & Hygiene Certificate.
- The ability to lead and encourage the team maintaining a friendly working environment.
- Knowledge and awareness of Allergens in food.
- A general fitness will be required as you will be on your feet whilst on shift.

In view of our location - the ability to drive, and access to transport would be beneficial.

**Job Type**: Full time (5 days a week, Alternate Weekends)

Hourly Rate: £11.79

- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
