**Salary**:£61,200 - £78,200 depending on experience

**About the role**

A maternity cover role, designed to manage and support the execution Cadent’s financing strategy (c. £500m-£1bn of funding per year) in collaboration with the Senior Treasury Funding Manager to ensure long-term liquidity of the business. This includes assessmentand execution of hedging instruments such as cross-currency and inflation-linked swaps as well as maintaining and monitoring the Groups’ debt documentation (for example EMTN programmes and syndicated RCFs).

Manages the day funding and cash management of the Group through day to day dealing operations, including money fund investments, drawdowns on committed facilities and foreign exchange trades in line with Treasury Policies.

**Key Accountabilities**

The key priorities for this role are:

- Support the Senior Treasury Funding Manager with debt capital market issuance and managing the process including due diligence, documentation, pricing and managing 3rd parties (legal advisors, relationship banks, auditors etc.). Support verification ofinternal information by working with internal teams from tax, treasury reporting, regulatory and legal teams.
- Execute hedging transactions in line with treasury policy and board approvals, to include cross-currency and inflation-linked swaps.
- For new transactions, work with treasury reporting to ensure smooth handover of new transactions and budgets including updates to the Treasury Management System.
- This role will support delivery of existing debt documents including the EMTN programme, bank facilities and other debt documents. This includes supporting the annual update to the EMTN programme and managing changes to bank facilities (for example extensionsand renewals).
- Support the improvement activities surrounding debt investor, credit rating agency and relationship bank relations. This includes improving how Cadent presents itself externally via our website, investor materials, and investor communications.
- Provide an additional layer of support to treasury operations (back office). This includes daily dealing, daily cash management and settlements, and drawdowns under committed bank facilities.
- Support the completion ofthe financial plan for treasury, this includes updating the financial model for new instruments, reconciling the model to the Treasury Management System, providing assurance over the accuracy of the funding assumptions, and handoverto treasury reporting.
- Undertake adhoc analysis to support financing and hedging decision making.

**About You**
- Knowledge of global debt capital markets (including hedging opportunities)
- Knowledge of Treasury systems including Bloomberg and ideally FIS
- Understanding of UK financial regulatory and legislative requirements
- Understanding governance, risk and internal control frameworks
- Project management and attention to detail is a critical part of the role, as managing multiple work streams is key
