We have a new vacancy for a full time Team Leader to oversee a team of support staff, working in an award-winning community and outreach setting, supporting adults with learning disabilities and a range of needs.

Aswell as day to day management of Support Workers, setting objectives, planning rotas and developing effective support plans, the Team Leader will be working with and supporting clients, providing hands-on support and being an example of best practice.

Applicants should be organised and have really good communication skills, along with experience in the care industry, particularly supporting people with a learning disability and supervising staff - ideally in a supported living setting.

Applicants will need to be a driver with own car as clients are based at several sites across the Mendips.

**Experience**:

- Learning Disabilities: 2 years (required)
- Supported Living: 1 year (preferred)
- Supervising: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ2 (preferred)
