**Full Job Description**:
Our client is looking for experienced Healthcare Assistant/Support Workers with experience or exposure to adults with Dementia. Although the work is on agency/ongoing temporary basis, there are a number of shifts available including 9am
- 4pm shifts Monday to Friday.

Package:

- £9.79 per hour depending on shift starting rate (higher pay for nights /BHs etc)
- Day shifts available 9 am - 4pm plus various other timings
- Monday to Friday shifts available also
- Weekly pay
- Holiday pay on top
- Friendly working environment
- Could lead to permanent contract
- Flexible shifts to suit you

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the elderly, promoting independent and well being
- Operating in the correct manner at all times in line with company and government guidelines
- Assisting with service users day to day needs which may include personal care
- Helping with meal times
- Partaking in activities and events
- Supporting in any reasonable way possible

**Requirements**:

- Ideally minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2 or similar or willingness to undertake training
- Previous experience and understanding of adults with Dementia and other illnesses
- Happy to do personal care If required
- Up to date moving and handling / food hygiene certificates
- Portable DBS check or happy for one to be carried out
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to remain calm in difficult situations
- A team player
- Friendly and sensitive to the needs of others
