**Nights Sales Assistant - WHSmith - Luton Airport**

Contract Type - Permanent

Contracted Hours -3 In and 3 Off

26.25 hours per week, working 8 hours shift with 30 minutes unpaid break.

Shifts are 9pm to 5am

Sales Assistant working hours will be offered between Monday to Sunday.
- £10.65 per hour + £1.50 per hour (Premium is between 12am-5am)
- 5.6 weeks annual leave

Airport Requirements:

- 5 years continuous references (professional/educational) to gain an Airside Airport Security Pass

**Sales Assistant introduction**:
To provide exceptional customer service, proactively dealing with all customers, making the most of every sales opportunity and acting as an ambassador delivering the WHSmith brand to all our customers.**Role of a Sales Assistant**:

- To always deliver a friendly service, smiling, greeting and making eye contact with every customer you come into contact with.
- Working on tills accurately and efficiently to provide a positive customer experience.
- Carry out stock replenishment, ensuring all areas of the store remain tidy
- Working as an active member of the team, supporting colleagues in all tasks
- Meeting high standards of display and visual merchandising to ensure the store is well presented. Accurately following planograms

**Who we’re looking for**:
Perhaps surprisingly, what you don’t need is bags of retail or customer service experience. We’re looking for people who have a real desire to learn and to make our customers happy You’ll need to be a great listener, good to talk to and naturally helpful. The rest will come. And if you want to get on, we’ll positively encourage you. As a Sales Assistant, there’s nothing stopping you becoming a future Store Manager or working in one of our Head Offices
