**Freight Clerk - Birmingham B17**
The role will be to handle operations for Seafreight, Airfreight and Roadfreight shipments from start to finish for large key account customers as well as adhoc customers.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Planning and arranging collections and deliveries - Logistics
- Obtaining the necessary paperwork, PODetc
- Admin / Administration support to all parties
- Data input / Data entry and general admin
**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Servicing customers on a daily basis to make sure all requirement will be met from an operational perspective.
- Ability to work under pressure (deadlines), independently and within a team
- Attention to details, competent in Office Softwares, Mails, and ability to learn to use new operation system
- Be driven and self-motivated
- Able to work to deadlines
- Comfortable in taking directions/supervision
- Clear communication both in written and verbally
**Desirable**:
- Knowledge of the other business fields, Sea freight, Airfreight and basic customs will be advantaged
- Chinese Speaker is preferred.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week
