Fixation is part of Warehouse Express Ltd and we work alongside Wex Photo Video as part of the UK’s leading specialist retailer serving the country’s photographers and filmmakers via an award-winning ecommerce team, or through one of their 12 showrooms.We are an ambitious company of very creative people, looking after the needs of both hobbyists and professionals with the same high standards.
We are looking for a Stock Controller at our Kennington Site to help us improve the ordering and management of our spare parts inventory to ensure a high degree of accuracy and control.
**As Spare Parts Stock Controller you will be responsible for**:
- Accurately ordering spare parts in line with requirements and systems recommendations, ensuring orders are placed with suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Expediting spare parts orders and keeping the business updated on any delays or issues effecting supply.
- Ensuring parts are received and booked in accurately and any discrepancies recorded and reported in a timely manner.
- Maintaining an orderly and accurate store to ensure parts can be located quickly and that accurate stock holdings are maintained.
- Investigating stock discrepancies, reporting findings to the Workshop Manager, Financial Controller and Director of Corporate Sales & Services.
- Managing Nikon Spare Parts sales from request through to picking to ensure accurate and timely supply of parts.
- Completing perpetual inventory counts to ensure physical accuracy of spare stock is always maintained
**You will have**:
- Previous experience in a stock control and stores role, preferably on ERP Systems
- Ability to work in a methodical, organised and tidy manner
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- A cheerful and positive disposition, resilience and patience when dealing with difficult situations.
- A high degree of PC literacy including MS Office
- Good organisational skills and highly self-motivated with the ability to cope and work under pressure.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and listening skills
- Ability to concentrate on detail in a very busy environment with the possibility of constant interruptions.
