Biology Tutor

**About the role: Online Biology Tutor**

In addition to these responsibilities you will be liaising with other staff to enhance learner engagement, monitor their progress and provide timely interventions.

This is a casual contract set to start in January 2025. Salary will be dependent on learner achievement.

**What do you need to be successful as an Online Tutor at Activate Learning?**

You'll have an understanding of how people learn and be able to show demonstrable experience of working independently. You should be able to build strong relationships quickly, even via remote meetings. It would be desirable to have experience teaching up to level 3 specifically, and to have experience working with online learners.

As this is a home-based role with many of our students studying in the evening, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we aspire to develop within our learners. You can be based anywhere in the UK to do this role
