The role of the Rapid Diagnostic Centre Administrator is to provide specialist knowledge for the pathway of cancer patients across Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. You will facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that the pathway is co-ordinated, streamlined and all processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
The successful applicant will work directly and indirectly with patients and their carers, and be responsible for capturing information about patients, ensuring up-to-date relevant information is recorded on the patient record and Trust systems. It is important that you have a good knowledge and understanding of patient complete pathways.
As a key requirement of this role, the post holder will have excellent communication and organisational skills, together with a high attention to detail and levels of accuracy.
The role will support and work within the clinical nurse teams to support and transform and develop current processes.
The primary base at Basildon hospital with the requirement to be flexible about working across the MSE sites.
