**Trainee Fire Engineer - Zitko Talent Programme**

Zitko Talent are delighted to be working with a range of Electronic Security and Fire Systems Integrators who are looking to hire the next wave of trainee engineers around the Newcastle area.

As a Trainee Engineer, you'll learn more about an industry which is all about ensuring safety and protection of people's lives and livelihoods. The Zitko Talent Programme combines training and employment, meaning you'll receive nationally recognised qualifications (Level 3) and manufacturer certification whilst being employed and trained on the job. You'll receive a competitive salary of up to £25,000per year plus benefits (overtime, travel time, company vehicle, pension, healthcare, etc.).

Duties could include the installation, service and maintenance of electronic fire and/or security systems in a range of client premises which could include shopping centres, football stadiums, hospitals, data centres, and high-security environments.

**Requirements**:

- Ideally, you'll have similar experience, qualifications, and/or transferable skills gained from a relevant sector or degree. This could include electrical, mechanical, telecoms, aviation, automotive, plumbing, and any other practical or technical role.
- Knowledge of the fire and security industry would be a bonus, but previous experience is not required.
- You'll also have previous customer-facing experience and good communication skills, as well as a desire to work in a technical industry and a practical hands-on role.
- You must have a clear criminal record and ideally hold a full UK driving licence.
