**Audio Typing Levels -**50%-60% of the role is Audio Typing
- Accurately and efficiently listen to dictated letters from supplied scripts amending and correcting grammar where required.
- Accurately transcribe clinical letters and clinical correspondence from Winscribe digital dictation within defined deadlines.
- Maintain and input all diagnostic information from clinic/ results letters onto Excel results spreadsheets. Ensuring all tests are requested and logged onto the clinician spreadsheet with test dates and any test information, ensuring no unnecessary delayin the patient pathway.
- Deal with incoming mail, results/reports management.
- Undertake daily audits of clinical correspondence to ensure a high standard of accuracy and quality of work.
- Ability to exchange sensitive or contentious information with diplomacy and in a confidential manner.
- Dealing with patient and consultant queries.
- Deal with telephone calls inbound and outbound relating to patient specific care in a confidential manner.
- Liaising with outpatient administrators re. Appointments and necessary important clinical information to ensure patients are seen on their pathway without delay.
- Establish and maintain admin systems/databases.
