**JOB TITLE**: Care Assistant / Support Worker

**SALARY**: £19,859.84 per annum (full time, 38.5 hours per week)

**LOCATION**:Scotforth Road, Lancaster, LA1 4XN

**ROLES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supporting residents with daily needs such as personal care in accordance to the individual resident care plans.
- Work closely with residents, staff, families and other relevant professionals. You will be involved in the general activities of the home, and maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff and visitors.
- Provide quality care for our elderly residents, and ensure they retain their dignity and individuality in line with the individual care plans.
- Accurately document care plans ensuring that the company policy and plans are adhered to whilst maintaining and achieving an uncompromising high standard of care.
- Learning and keeping up with professional standards, following Company policies and procedures and the regulatory requirements provided by the Care Quality Commissioning Group.

**Desirable Skills & Qualities**:

- An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or a Care Certificate is desirable but not essential
- Minimum of 1- year recent elderly care experience is desirable but not essential
- Experience working in a residential living environment is desirable but not essential
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential
- Flexibility to work shifts
- Positive and energetic attitude
