We are a long-established watch and clockmaking business based in Lewes, East Sussex, where we’ve operated for over 25 years. Our workshop is home to a small team of experienced horologists, widely regarded as among the best in the country.

We are currently looking for a **Retail Associate** to join our team and support the day-to-day running of our shop and online operations.

This is a varied role that would suit someone organised, curious, and keen to be part of a small, specialist business.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Managing stock and inventory systems
- Carrying out general administrative tasks
- Adding and updating products on our website
- Managing and assisting with our retail window display
- Assisting with content for our social media platforms (a strong interest here is a bonus)
- Helping with product photography and visual merchandising (again, an interest is a plus)

We value someone who brings energy and attention to detail, enjoys learning new skills, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team. We've curated a very low pressure environment.

There is **room for growth** in this position, particularly for someone interested in the digital and creative side of retail. You’ll be working closely with the owners, gaining insight into a niche field with deep heritage and craft.

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience in merchandising and retail sales
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient phone etiquette for customer interactions
- Familiarity with the local market and community dynamics

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
