Teaching Assistant in Banbury Needed

A Specialist School in the centre of Banbury are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them on a full-time basis starting as soon as possible. The role will involve working with and supporting a small class of SEN pupils who may have autism, ADHD, learningdifficulties, down syndrome, complex learning needs or physical disabilities.
Your role will involve working in a small class of SEN pupils. Under the guidance of the teacher, you will provide support both 1:1 and on a group-basis, tracking the progress each child makes and helping to manage their behaviour. You will help build eachpupils life skills, provide social and emotional support, and above everything else, make school an exciting and safe place.
Previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs is desired - this can be professional or personal experience. However, personality is most important - if you are caring, understanding, patient and ready for a challenge thenthe school wants to hear from you
The SEN School have fantastic resources for the pupils, with sensory rooms and a large play area. The school also has on-site parking and easy access to local transport, and has been praised by OFSTED for its innovative and creative learning environment.
