Assistant Buyer

**_Please note this role is predominantly working from home but you will be required to work 3 days per week from our office in Kemble._**

As part of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts group, **_Cotswold Outdoor_**_ _**is joined by **_Runners Need_**_ _**and **_Snow + Rock_**_ _**to support outdoor enthusiasts by providing excellent customer service and a range of products from world leading brands, all whilst promoting and encouraging sustainability
- Please note this role is 40 hours per week._

**How will you make an impact?**
- Supporting the Buyer with planning and delivering seasonal reviews, presentations, and strategies to key stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, negotiating prices and margin to deliver profitable departments
- Collaborating with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and omni-channel teams to align product direction
- Monitoring and analysing product sales performance, competitor activity, and market trends to inform buying decisions and strategy
- Managing the sample process, preparing for seasonal photo shoots and assisting in range reviews and sign-off meetings
- Deputising for the Buyer when needed, participating in store vistis, supplier meetings and trade fairs to ensure strategies are executed effectively

- You have experience working as an Assistant Buyer, with strong commercial accumen and a proven ability to analyse trends
- You excel at building relationships and negotiating to achieve the best pricing, margins and outcomes
- You're highly collaborative and work effectively with others
- You bring strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure
- You are proactive, strategic and enthusiastic about driving innovation and optimising product performance
