Maintenance Engineer, Kent, £40,000 - £45,000

Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer required to join a fast-growing dynamic company based near Dover. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Maintenance Engineer ideally with experience of working within a FMCG environment to make a difference, in abrand new, state of the art facility.

The Maintenance Engineer's role will involve:

- Carrying out planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance (respond to breakdowns) both electrical and mechanical across the FMCG site whilst ensuring all the company procedures and standards are followed
- Support the delivery of projects
- The Maintenance Engineer will work from a CMMS (Computerised maintenance management system) in close collaboration with Production and Engineering to maximise machine efficiency and minimise both machinery breakdowns and production disturbances.
- The Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer will be involved in continuous improvement programs as a part of a drive to improve machine efficiency and safety.
- Have knowledge of; carrying out Risk Assessments, Permit to Work, Root Cause Analysis, Pneumatics.
- A high standard of electrical and mechanical knowledge will be required (electrically qualified is a preference). This will ideally be gained from industries such as FMCG, Packaging, Food or Drink manufacturing.
- You must be able to communicate effectively, have excellent attention to detail and be competent with computer driven systems.
