Also, the company offer a market leading benefits package and annual bonus. **Position overview**: Working as part of the SEUK Maintenance team and reporting into SEUK Maintenance Manager, ensuring all corrective and reactive maintenance activities are undertaken safely and in alignment with best practice, whilst also ensuring opportunities are identifiedfor continuous improvement of the overall maintenance function. Develop and built strong working relationships with maintenance supervisors, ensuring clear and open lines of communication are always maintained, whilst also providing coaching to assist the development of the team of technicians. Take direct responsibility and accountability to ensure a positive relationship is maintained between the maintenance team, operations team, and engineering team. Provide daily support and deputise for maintenance manager when required. Designated SAP super user for the UK maintenance department, playing a key role in the development of the team to ensure the CMMS system is fully utilised. **Key responsibilities**: Deputise for the Maintenance Manager as and when required Coordinate the daily execution of planned and corrective maintenance activities for all maintenance disciplines. Positively encourages Safety First culture via day-to-day interaction with the maintenance team. Drive execution and compliance of all maintenance activities that relate directly to current legislation. (PSSR, LOLER, DSEAR, SIL) Ensure maintenance team adoption and conformance to all SEUK management procedures. Ensure that all Sembcorp maintenance standard operating procedures are current and follow best practice. Drive maintenance team efficiencies and effectiveness, whilst identifying deficiencies and take necessary steps to address them. Drive the ability within the maintenance function to provide high quality workmanship. Appointed contract owner for key maintenance contracts. Champion 5S Procedure (Sort, set in order, shine, standardise, Sustain) Provide first line support for all technical issues relating to maintenance activities. Coach and develop Maintenance Supervisors. Drive the continuous improvement processes and methodology within SEUK. Work closely with maintenance supervisors and maintenance planning team in order to ensure that tasks are completed in a structured and methodical approach. Support conformance in regard to the training matrix and identify opportunities to improve overall competence. Understand maintenance cost drivers and promote cost effective solutions amongst maintenance personnel SEUK key point of contact with the condition-based maintenance service provider. Identify opportunities to increase uptime and plant reliability. Champion the QA process with SAP for work order close out. RAMS Approver Key stakeholder in regards to the SEUK temporary repair register. Provide leadership and task ownership for maintenance activities that involves external vendors. Provide leadership and task ownership for maintenance related projects and breakdown scenarios. Encourage "one team" working and drive efficiencies within the maintenance function. **Essential** Considerable man management experience within a maintenance/engineering environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Considerable experience of engineering and equipment maintenance. IT skills (use of Outlook, spreadsheets, word processing, Microsoft Project etc.) Up to date with best practice maintenance and engineering techniques. Excellent awareness and implementation of SHE requirements. Vast knowledge and experience of CCMS (SAP). Good influencing skills. Works well as part of a team. Proactive in identifying and solving problems. Good report writing, communication and meeting skills. High concern for standards. High level of personal resilience. Flexibility in working hours to suit business needs. **Desirable** HNC/HND. Experience of a Lean Manufacturing environment. Experience in the Power Generation sector. ILM qualification.
