We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Healthcare Operations at our Marston Gate site. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the MMW operations and the wider Yusen Control Tower. You will be responsible for transport planning activities between MMW’s and third party sites, customer service and issue management activities across local distributors in a number of European countries.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00
- 17:00, Currently 2 days a week office based with the remaining 3 days working from home.

**Salary**: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

**Job Description**:

- Booking in collections/deliveries
- Transport planning activities for MMW movements
- Managing of special delivery arrangements and returns
- Daily customer query resolution and complaint management
- Trend root causes of issues for improvement
- Adhere to documented processes & take part in revision of processes. Support and recommend process changes as necessary
- Provide input into daily and monthly performance analysis (using statistics and MS Excel) and play a part in regular review meetings
- Supporting work on process improvement and standardization (eg KAIZEN, GEMBA)
- Requirement to cross-train to enable cover for holiday / sickness / out of office
- Admin and other ad hoc duties, as required
- ensuring service is delivered against agreed SLAs
- Report / escalate poor haulier performance as necessary
- Participate in customer and carrier review meetings
- Provide clear and timely communication of deviations to proposed routing plans - notifying sites and customer in advance
- System Accuracy Carlo TMS - ensuring system data is up to date and accurate within the agreed timelines and debrief in line with the operating procedure
- Management of carrier costs in TMS & cost awareness and impact, accountable for meeting both individual and Ops KPI targets, understand KPI trends and work to improve them

Qualifications & Experience:

- GCSE level, or equivalent
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Transport management systems awareness
- Experience of Transport Planning
- Good knowledge of European Geography.
- Some travel to European sites may be required, this will not be a regular occurrence.
- Highly organised
- Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills -MS office and excel.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization as well as clients
