Whiteparish is a busy medical ward specialising in Endocrine and Diabetes. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic band 6 junior sister to join our team. You will be joining a supportive and friendly team who are committed to ensuring quality patient care.

2 years post qualifying experience in acute medicine is favourable, but this is an ideal opportunity to expand your knowledge in Diabetes, you will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and further training will be given to help you achieve this. We work closely with all members of our multidisciplinary team including the inpatient Diabetes team.

The successful applicant needs to be flexible and work a combination of days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Ability to co-ordinate both day and night shifts

Ability to assess patients, plan care for a group of patients, deliver care and evaluate the effectiveness of care given

Ability to organise own workload whilst supervising others

Ability to coordinate a small team and manage non-clinical duties like sickness, appraisals
