Van Owner Delivery Driver Saturdays

**ABG Network NW Logistics is looking to add new Van Owner Delivery Driver Self-employed, to our ever-expanding team working out of the UPS Eccles Depot, with immediate start.**
**Benefits of working for ABG Network NW Logistics**:
- _**Pay rate: £200/day plus Vat( 2 weeks in arrears payment system)**_
- _**Saturday working only**_
- _**Between 40 and 60 drops per day. Deliveries only to residential destinations-no business. No collection required**_
- _**Ongoing work (not temporary).**_
- _**Experienced onsite managers who are always available during the working day to support and assist when required.**_
- _**Depot staff will unload volume from trailers and place on pallets ready for drivers. **_
- _**Training will be given to the drivers on usage of the scanning device**_
- _**Non branded vehicles and drivers not expected to wear uniform**_
**Responsibilities**:
- Drivers will have to return to the depot at the end of the route to take back any packages unable to deliver due to bad addresses
- Drivers will have to return to the depot at the end of work to return the scanning device
- Full working day expected (e.g. start 8am-5pm)
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle
**Requirements**:
- **Have your own van**:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and clean DBS
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- 1 year minimum experience in deliveries
