Senior Anti Money Laundering Officer

**Looking for a senior role leading a high performing AML team? **We’re exciting to recruit for our Senior AML Oficer position based in Leeds. As our senior, you’ll help guide and support a team of AML Officers to meet SLAs whilst providing quality assurance on the team’s work. **What you will be doing -**
- The possibility of having team management responsibilities and acting as a direct line manager for the AML Officers.
- Engaging directly with the financial intelligence units in the UK and in Gibraltar, as well as law enforcement and other external agencies where applicable
- Representing the AML team in daily steering meetings and assisting in any other AML reviews required by the business. You'll also act as a support function for internal stakeholders, as an authority on process or procedural matters relating to AML.
- Taking the lead and owning specific projects and tasks within the team
- Working with internal stakeholders and acting as a point of contact for AML queries within the business
- Acting as a point of escalation for the AML officers in terms of the tasks they undertake such as screening customers, reviewing accounts, and drafting suspicious activity reports.
- Review and analyse transactional activity relating to the UK business (Online & Retail)
- Monitoring the workload of the AML team, and taking an operational lead in allocating tasks to ensure an efficient process

**Who we are looking for-**
- In-depth knowledge of the AML, CTF and CDD laws, regulations, and practices in the UK
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Competent with use of Microsoft Office products
