Stockport Grammar School is seeking to appoint a well qualified Head of Lower School. The Head of Lower School oversees the pastoral care and academic progress of pupils in First to Third Year (Year 7-9) and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team. This is an important role in our school structure and we are looking to recruit an exceptional leader to join our school from September 2025.

The school offers a competitive salary and enrolment into a generous contributory pension scheme. In addition, employees who have children in the School are eligible for a percentage remission of fees. Lunch is provided free of charge during term time and all staff are able to use the school’s sports facilities which includes use of the swimming pool.
