The Depot Team Leader is responsible for supervising all depot-based engineers and assistants to ensure preparation of rental packages for upcoming hires.

Desired skills:
Education/Qualifications- Mechanical and or Electrical apprenticeship- Alternatively, a City & Guilds/ONC or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering- If not qualified to above standard, person must still have a good grounding in mechanical/electrical engineering and be willing to undertake training to attain this qualification
Skills / experience- Ability to manage multiple stake holders cross-functional- Ability to communicate through all levels of the organisation- Ability to produce, develop and maintain policy and procedures- Ability to withstand pressure and meet challenging deadlines- Ability to conduct electrical fault finding, following wiring schematics/drawings- Coaching skills- Influential and persuasive, a good presenter- Naturally empathetic and gregarious- Results oriented with a ‘can do’ attitude, must thrive on success- Problem solving and analyzing skills- Planning & organising skills- High levels of integrity- Attention to detail- Cross cultural work experience is advantageous
Your key responsibilities:
- Supervision of Depot Engineer and Depot Assistants- Daily planning and co-ordination of all depot activity- Control and supervision of planned maintenance of fleet/depot equipment at Service Centre to comply with the standards stated in the service manual, bulletins and service topics- Oversees allocation of fleet to meet contract requirements, including control, release and return of fleet as well as off-hire inspections and the processing of chargeable extras- Sourcing of cable, duct, hose and fittings/ancillaries- Ensure all depot tooling, lifting and measuring equipment is maintained, calibrated and inspected in line with planned preventative maintenance. This could include cranes, forklift trucks and lifting accessories- Ensure repair of fleet is actioned promptly in order to maintain maximum availability in a cost-effective manner- Supporting Service Centre Manager to ensure the depot meets our global service centre standards.
