HICA is seeking to recruit a professional, motivated, and attentive individual to join our growing team in the position of Senior Care Assistant at The Lodge, our flagship residential service within Buckshaw Retirement Village, Chorley.

This is a prime opportunity for someone who has previously worked at this level, or an experienced Care Worker seeking to take the next step in their career in care.
- **Pay & Hours**:_
- Rate of Pay: £11.50 p/h, rising to £11.80 after 6 months. Plus an additional 50p per hour for nights.
- Hours of work: 42 hours (Nights)
- Shift Pattern - Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend)
- **£400 retention bonus - **You will be paid £200 after completing 3 months’ service with us, and upon successful completion of your 6 month probation period, you will also receive another £200 (Pro rata for PT employees)
- **The Role**:_

Working on a rota basis, the Senior Care Assistant will lead a team of Care Workers within one of our dedicated communities to ensure our residents are comfortable and supported to the highest standards throughout the night. The successful applicant will also be expected to administer medication in line with our clients’ individual needs as well as updating and maintaining care plans and documentation.

This is a fantastic opening for someone who has previously worked at this level, or an experienced Carer looking to take that important next step in their career in care.

As part of our ongoing commitment to our staff, you will be automatically enrolled onto our dedicated _**Team Leader Development Programme **_to help you grow as a valued member of our supervisory team.

With support from the Team Manager, the successful applicant will lead a team of carers within one of our communities, working closely with other departments to ensure the needs and wants of our residents are met to the highest standard. As our new Team Leader, will also be expected to administer medication in line with our clients’ individual needs as well as updating and maintaining care plans and documentation.
