**About Us**
The role of an embedded co-ordinator is to provide a self-directed, proactive and
confidential administrative and professional support service to the Regaining
Independence Service and management, within the Adult Social Care
Directorate.

This will include administration for various panels, note taking for a range of
customer based and internal management meetings, management of
spreadsheets and data and provision of a diary management function.

**About The Job** Salary**: £23,194 - £24,496 per annum
**Working Pattern**: Full time, 37 hours per week
**Contract Length**:Permanent
**Location**:County Hall North, Horsham, or Bridge House, Goring by Sea

We are looking for a self-motivated, collaborative Embedded Co-ordinator to join our Regaining Independence Service Work Team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant difference to our service users lives, although challenging the rewards by far outweigh those challenges as you will always strive for a positive outcome. This is a role where you'll have the chance to really exercise your administrative tasks through diary management, organisation and communicating effectively. No two days will look the same; you’ll be working in at various locations across the county with numerous colleagues.

**Experience and Skills** Key Skills**

1. Able to organise and manage self in order to meet deadlines, be self-aware
and able to respond constructively to situations, balancing competing
demands and recognising when to seek help appropriately. To take
responsibility for own performance and to be proactive in relation to own
work and professional development.

2. Ability to work in partnership with colleagues and a variety of internal and
external partners in order to deliver the most effective service.

3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and oral format,
including the ability to negotiate and influence others in order to secure
desired outcomes.

4. Ability to provide guidance and advice to all enquiries in a timely manner.
Taking ownership of enquiries and providing proactive feedback on progress
and outcomes ensuring contacts are escalated if appropriate.

5. Highly accurate IT and keyboard skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
and be adept and proactive at picking up new technologies quickly.

**Qualifications and/or experience**:

- GSCE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification or experience

demonstrating that level of literacy and numeracy.

- Experience of providing a professional administration / business support

service, advice and / or guidance to others.
- Experience of forming effective working relationships.
- Experience of inputting data and using databases.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, innovative work environment, whilst

remaining calm.
- Good, up-to-date working practices.
- Experience of working in a health or social care environment - Desirable
