**The Company**:
Our client is a well-known company based in Runcorn (WA7) are forward thinking and working on reducing waste and increasing recycling. They are offering a fantastic opportunity for a HGV 1 driver to join them on a one month basis to cover long term sickness.

**The Opportunity**:
My client is looking for HGV 1 driver to work on a Monday-Friday shift pattern, on day shifts only.

The job is picking up waste from two local customers, going back to Runcorn to tip the load. There is no handball involved at all as the lorry is loaded for you and the walking floors on the trailer tip the load when you are back at site.

You will complete 4 drops per day.

**Start times/shifts**:
Monday-Friday

06:00am start - 18:00 finish (12-hour day)

**Pay**:
£15.17 per hour

**Key Requirements**:

- HGV 1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, CPC Card
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Unfortunately, we cannot take anyone with a DR10 on their licence

**The Application Processes**:
**Salary**: £15.17 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Runcorn, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Driver CPC (preferred)
