**Role**:Social Media Executive

**Salary**:£24,000 - £26,000

**Location**: Southampton (on-site)

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Create and curate engaging content that aligns with the brand's voice and values.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to customer inquiries, and manage community engagement.
- Analyse and report on social media performance metrics, including reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media campaigns align with broader marketing initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices, and integrate them into campaigns as appropriate.

**Key knowledge, skills and experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media marketing.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data to optimise campaigns.
- Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for social media and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
- Bi-lingual abilities is a benefit.
- In-depth understanding of the processes surrounding the creation and distribution of paid advertisements.
- Ability to create authoritative and persuasive texts.
- Flexible and engaging writing style.
- Knowledge of pertinent engagement metrics.
- Appreciation for novel insights and ideas.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime to accommodate various time zones.
- Expert knowledge of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms.
