Radiology Porter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic individuals to join our wonderful Portering Team as we are looking to expand our efficient and high quality service enhancing and improving the service offered to all our patients, visitors, and staff.

We are a friendly team who take's pride in nurturing a friendly and supportive environment in our busy Radiology Department. at Basildon Hospital.

Manual handling and Patient transfer training will be provided.

Basildon radiology have a wide range of imaging procedures on offer, as well as being the interventional and vascular hub for the region. Its an exciting department to work in.
- A Portering service is provided in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and practices, which is responsive to ward and department requirements.
- As part of a multidisciplinary team, provide an effective, timely delivery and collection service which supports all aspects of clinical and non-clinical services.
- The Portering have considerable contact with staff, visitors, members of the public and contractors. The Porter is a front-line member of staff who assists in providing this essential service, in what can be, difficult and stressful conditions.

Manual handling and Patient transfer training will be provided.
