Pertemps are continuing to support our Sighthill based client, in Edinburgh who is looking to add an experienced Hire & Sales Coordinators (HSC) to their site in Edinburgh on a permanent basis. This role will be the first point of contact at our clients'depot and is the key to the business' success. You will build strong and long-lasting customer relationships along with understanding their hire needs to ensure they are met.
If you have a nack for customer service and a skill for up-selling, this role will be of interest to you.
Monday to Friday / 42.5 hours a week / Starting Salary of £23,500
Hire & Sales Coordinators (HSC) role:

- Processing all hire desk administration including customer and supplier queries
- Managing approx. 40-50 incoming and outgoing hires per day
- Ensuring sufficient stock levels to meet customer demand and maximise sales opportunities
- Load checking vehicles and working effectively with the depot team of drivers and fitters
- Resolving customer complaints and supplier issues efficiently
Successful applicants should have:

- Previous experience of working within a high-volume role is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on increasing sales
- Effective communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient IT skills with working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook and Excel
- Strong team player with the ability to work to own initiative
- Although a plant & tool hire background would be great, as long as you have a proven passion for customer service and the drive to learn, the foundations are set to be built upon.
