As part of a team of highly motivated Cyber Security Technology professionals, this is a role where you can shape the future of BT Security’s technology portfolio. As one of our Cyber Assessment Specialists, you’ll work with a wide variety of stakeholders from strategy, portfolio, through to systems and project delivery. You’ll be assessing security technology segments and specific products for BT to develop further into managed services.

The learning curve will be steep as we cover a huge variety of technologies to a deep technical level, so if you feel you are up for a challenge, this is the right place for you

**You'll have the following responsibilities**

**What you’ll do**:

- Work with BT stakeholders to determine requirement sets.
- Work with vendors to discover their solution capabilities.
- Test drive technologies in order to develop previously unknown requirements and benefits.
- Produce reference architectures as a communication too to steer the business
- Present findings to the business
- Write detailed, but easily digestible reports.
- Product and technology research

- Be deeply technical
- Be self-motivated and proactive
- Be comfortable challenging and working to deadlines
- Be organised and able to multi-task
- Be able to manage multiple stakeholders
- Have fantastic presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Be commercially aware
- Have an enquiring mind, thirst for knowledge and willingness to learn

**You might even**:

- Be able to code
- Have vendor certifications, either cloud or security vendor specific
- Have hands on experience with the cloud or security products
- Have knowledge of Security solutions or delivered a security project
- Have a degree
