Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Westbury, Wiltshire

£38,204 + Regular overtime available + Pension + No weekend work.

3 shift system (6 to 2, 2 to 10, 10 to 6) Fridays (6 to 11:30, 11:30 to 5, 5 to 10:30) 37.5 hour week.

Maintenance Engineer sought within a national, successful UK market leader in the production of consumables to the UK's retail and supermarket sectors.

The role will be suited to experienced multi skilled engineers from any engineering or manufacturing background. You will have an electrical bias and will hold a relevant electrical formal qualification and be 17th Edition trained.

The role of Maintenance Engineer will involve reactive and planned preventative maintenance activities as well as key involvement in engineering improvement and factory layout projects in quieter periods. You will work on a broad range of high-volume productionmachinery much of which is fully automated equipment, therefore diagnostic skills will be highly advantageous. Any exposure to the paper or packaging industries is highly desired although all transferable backgrounds will be considered.

The role:

- Work on a broad range of high-volume production machinery, paper and packaging based.
- Operate on a rotating shift system in an established team of engineers, conducting full and comprehensive handovers from each shift
- Reactive breakdown support, Planned maintenance and projects.

The Person:

- Experienced maintenance engineer from any manufacturing or engineering environment
- Used to working to PPM schedules and providing rapid breakdown support to minimise downtime and aid productivity.
- Able to contribute to engineering improvement projects and work overtime as required in line with the needs of the business.
- Hold a Relevant Electrical Qualification.
- 17th Edition Trained
