**Position - Assistant Regional Director
- Social Housing/ Senior Contracts Manager**

**Role: Permanent Full Time**

**Location: Manchester**

**Salary: CIRCA £65k + 10% car allowance**

Are you an experienced Construction manager or Senior Project Manager with experience across residential new build and refurbishment schemes?

Would you like to step up into an ‘Assistant Director’ position, for a reputable property services company within the social housing sector? If so read on:
As Assistant Director, you will report to the Regional Director of Repairs and Maintenance, and have the responsibility for a team of Contract and Project managers working within the Northwest. You will be responsible for the effective engagement, managementand delivery of Residential Refurbishment and New Build projects, within the Social Housing sector.

**Duties Include**
- To liaise across a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a commercial delivery of operational repairs and contracts.
- Ensure your management team manage and efficiently control the team of trade operatives; agency workers, apprentices, sub-contractors and direct contracts in the most profitable and productive way possible.
- To ensure the correct systems are in place in order to demonstrate the highest quality of workmanship is carried out by the team of operatives delivering the repairs/ planned works service.
- To ensure the consistent delivery of an efficient and cost-effective customer-focused operational repairs service, covering all maintenance and repairs activity undertaken by the section.
- To manage the financial budgets against each contract they are responsible for.
- To assist in the implementation of processes for the continuous improvement of organisations responsive repairs, voids and planned service activities.
- Whenever necessary deputise for the Regional Director.

**Requirements**:

- Up to date SMSTS & IOSH
- Continual Professional Development in property maintenance.
- Experience gained within a social housing environment.
- MCIOB/ RICS (desirable)
