We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of **Support Worker** to join our amazing team at **Avalon Group** working in the **Skipton** area.

**Pay rates**start at £12.27 an hour with weekends, evenings, and nights paid at a higher hourly rate. We also pay Non-Customer Contact Time between consecutive sessions of support which are less than 2 hours, and double pay on Bank Holidays.

**Contract**: This is a permanent role with a contract

**Shift patterns: F**ull-time, part-time, and weekend hours are currently available in our Skipton Locality. There will be an expectation to undertake sleepovers as part of the rota, which are paid at £80.19 per shift.

**Hours**: We currently offer part time and weekend roles in this region working between 12 and 24 hours per week.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Due to the location of this service, a full UK driving licence is required
- Personal care
- Housekeeping skills (cooking, shopping etc)
- Good sense of humour, willing to get involved in groups, can think outside the box when planning
- Activities, positive ‘can do’ attitude, self-motivated, the desire to make a positive impact on a person’s life

- On-call support means Support Workers can ask for advice or support when needed
- Paid non-customer contact time, paid training, paid for travel between consecutive support shifts

- Driving Licence - Due to support locations, a full-UK Driving License with access to a car which can be used for business purposes would be preferable.
