**Salary**:£34,196 - £40,231 depending on experience

**About The Role**
Working as a MOBs Supervisor, you will be accountable for the safe and efficient supervision of emergency, meter and repair activities and MOB’s within the North West Gas Distribution network. You will provide visible front line engagement with field force, customers and key stakeholders to deliver the Cadent vision and culture and Cadent priorities of safety and compliance.

**Day To Day**
- Be responsible for embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement within your team
- Supervise an effective and highly motivated regional workforce, driving performance excellence, delivering year-on-year cost efficiencies and improvements in productivity and resource utilisation whilst maintaining world-class operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of domestic and industrial meter installation, maintenance and exchange programmes
- Carry out FCO workplace inspections to demonstrate compliance with the required standards/company procedures for dealing with Public Reported Escapes as part of the requalification of FCOs to undertake ESP duties, i.e. Upstream and downstream escape work
- Ensure individuals comply with policy and work procedures and achieve company standards of service throughout all activities
- Authorise and prepare perimetry requirements in accordance with Safe control of Operations procedures
- Holds both Authorising Engineer and Competent Person status as required
- Manage sickness/absenteeism and low-level disciplinary procedures for direct reports, to ensure compliance with company policy
- Act as the public face of Cadent when responding to complaints and enquiries where required
- Be responsible for ensuring data recording and accuracy within the relevant network is appropriate and complete to support accurate management and regulatory reporting
- Monitor workforce operational performance to ensure all objectives are met and that problems are anticipated and resolved. Implement Performance Improvement Plans where required.
- Be Accountable for onsite incident supervision and investigation in adherence with EM72 and EM77 procedures in response to reports requiring escalation. i.e. Fire, Explosion, Suspected CO poisoning, Evacuation
- Share, promote and facilitate/implement technical and procedural best practice
- Ensure FCO emergency works are in full compliance with NRSWA

**What You'll Bring**
**Qualifications**
- HNC / NVQ or equivalent in an engineering discipline
- City & Guilds SNVQ 6012 Emergency Service Operations competence certificate
- NRSWA Supervisor certification
- Safety qualification (such as NEBOSH, IOSH Certificate)

**Practical Experience**
- Good understanding of relevant codes of practice, engineering instructionssafety and statutory regulation
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations relevant to role
- Strong understanding of OSGEM 2
- Good understanding of emergency work dispatch system
- Strong understanding of NRSWA
- Good understandingof N.G. planning/resource management
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
