A Special school (SEN) which caters for pupils with a range of needs, including ADHD, Autism and behavioural difficulties is looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a long-term position.
There are a high proportion of students attending the school how are unable to access mainstream education due to previous trauma so the ability to be flexible, caring, understanding and empathetic is a must.
Class sizes of 3-4 pupils providing you meaningful time with each student to help them flourish. Multiple offsite provisions for the students to access, funded pool cars.
The school is set in a nice location and has access to forest school settings, contributing to the overall learning experience for the children and providing you a nice environment to work in
The leadership team is highly supportive, giving you the tools you need to plan meaningful learning activities
