**A bit about Big Licks**

Established in 2008 Big Licks has been bringing the ultimate desserts, shakes and most recently some insane food to Scotland for over 13 years. Starting off as a small take out in Glasgow, we now have two state of the art 100+ seat, vibrant restaurants in the bustling centre of Glasgow.

Filling the streets with the sweet scent of daily freshly baked goods, a feast for the eyes with our hand-made artisanal ice cream, the chilly touch of ice-cold shakes and of course, making Glasgows mouths water with our succulent burgers.

**What’s Your Role &** **Responsibilities**:
As a Team Member you will carry out various responsibilities from interacting with customers through table service, being hands-on in creating our delicious desserts, working as a team to keep up the pace with busy surroundings. Our expectation of you is to ensure a smooth and efficient service to our customers, ensuring our customers are handed a banging burger and lip-smacking dessert every time they come, leaving with a 5* Big Licks service in their mind.

Each shift our teams are split into 3 throughout the venue, giving you a taste of each area throughout your employment at Big Licks allowing you to develop new skills and excel within your favourites:
Front of House

As part of the Front of House team, you’ll be the first friendly face our customers see bringing a positive welcome to every customer, holding a sound knowledge of our menu, you’ll be like an advice line for helping our customers place orders. Managing our open plan seating areas, ensuring our customers are enjoying their food and receiving a 5* Big Licks service. It’s a fast-paced role and you’ll need to work efficiently under pressure, dealing with some small obstacles along the way so confidence is key

Middle Section

On your shift in the middle section, you'll be working with food so timings are key, you should be able to work efficiently under pressure minimising mistakes with a meticulous eye for detail, think of it like Quality Control. The role will include prepping and packing orders, along with scooping ice cream and serving customers.

Kitchen Team

On shift in the kitchen, you'll be lucky enough to be surrounded by our insane desserts. The role will include making our lip-smacking desserts such as waffles, crepes, pancakes and milkshakes. You’ll will also be making our banging burgers and sides. In the kitchen you’ll need to have an eye for detail, level head and a passion for food.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the restaurant industry.
- Knowledge & passion for the Food & Beverage industry.
- Competent using Point of Sale systems.
- Teamworking qualities, confident in your abilities and able to thrive under pressure delivering 5* Big Licks service.
- Undeniable customer experience knowledge and solid objective / complaint handling experience.
- Competent and confident in both written and verbal English.

Job: Full-time, Permanent
Hourly Pay: Living Wage+ (dependant on experience)
