**What will I be doing as the Site Supervisor?**
You will report directly into the Project manager. You will be involved in all the projects going on here at site. You will provide the necessary expertise to ensure successful completion of electrical installations in compliance with current legislation. Youwill manage the day to day labour resources and materials required for successful completion of projects and provide close supervision of a team of fellow Installation Electricians and Electrical Improvers.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, modify, and repair a variety of electrical systems and equipment
- Planning and recording of preventive and reactive maintenance tasks
- Determine and implement efficient work procedures and techniques.
- Engage in the determination of work rotas and assignment of tasks
- Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variations
- Complete installation test reports and job documentation.
- Ensure all tools and equipment in use is certified and/or calibrated
- Maintain positive relationships with all staff, clients and other third parties
- You will ensure training is up to date, implementing and co-ordination a specialist plan.
- Focus on Continuous improvement ensuring ‘Best Practice’ is adopted every day.
- Observe the requirements of any Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders
- Communicate and adopt safe systems of work (RAMS)

**What are we looking for in our site supervisor?**You will already be a very experienced Electrical Installations Engineer and preferably you will have experience in leading a team. Experience working in an FMCG is highly desirable, but not essential.
- +5 years’ experience of industrial electrical installations
- A good understanding of electrical control & safety circuits, electrical schematics, and comfortable working from P&ID/layout drawings
- Clean Driving Licence
- A comprehensive toolkit for completing electrical installations
- Experience of working on own initiative
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- To be a team player and customer focused

**Qualifications and Licences**:

- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations or equivalent (required)
- SSSTS (Desirable)
- ECS Gold Card - Registered Electrician - Installation Electrician (Desirable)
- AM2 (required)
- 18th Edition Update (required)
- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (Desirable)
- MEWP Safety Training Card, IPAF 3a, 3b or equivalent (Desirable)
