We are currently looking to recruit for a
**Process Operative** to join our
**Bridgwater Dairy** within our
**Müller Milk & Ingredients** business.

A Process Operatives role is to ensure the smooth running of the Milk Intake, Process and Production filling lines. They test butterfats, FPD, chemicals, cream export and reclaim plus ensure tankers of incoming raw milk are off loaded in the correct time frame to ensure that milk is supplied to the filling hall when required. The role involves using systems such as APV reporting system to highlight any faults within the system and SCADA to ensure that all CIPs in the dairy are completed on time to allow the Dairy to run as efficiently as possible.

This position will involve working 12 hour shifts including weekends and bank holidays.

The shifts will be 4 on / 4 off - 2 days (6AM to 6PM) and 2 nights (6PM to 6AM) then 4 shifts off.

**Key tasks as a Process Operative**:

- The intake of raw milk from farm collection and bulk tankers.
- Checking and recording of all relevant paperwork.
- Sampling and testing of raw products.
- Producing product in a timely and efficient manner.
- To run the plant in an efficient manner producing a quality product at the lowest cost and reduce all forms of waste.
- Providing a safe to eat product in accordance with all technical specifications.
- To work as a team to continually improve all processes
- Actively seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operation excellence projects
- Collaboratively works with and communicates other team members and departments to improve our business

**Demonstrable skills, experience and knowledge within the following**:

- Experience of processing in a food or drink industry is desirable.
- Experience of working in a FMCG environment is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- High performer with a can do approach.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Diligent and methodical in all aspects.
