Nursery /after School Club Practitioner

We are looking for a happy, caring, motivated and dedicated person to join our small, friendly and social staff team.

You will be part of the team starting work at 11.30am within our nursery supporting lunchtime and the afternoon session, then moving on at 3.15pm to work with the children who attend out of school club until 4.30pm.

You will help care for children aged 2 to 4 years within a nursery room offering free flow learning through play. You will be responsible for a group of key children and support their learning and development you will be part of the nursery team preparing fun learning activities inside and out.

Our out of school club is for children ages 4-11 years.

We are a team that care about each others wellbeing and constantly promote supportive team working within a positive environment.

This post could potentially offer a deputy supervisor role for the right person within six months of starting.

The hours are Monday to Friday term time only 11.30 am -4.30pm with 4 weeks paid holiday and pay on all Bank Holidays per academic year.

You will require a childcare qualification to include early years at a level three or equivalent, good knowledge of child development and the early years foundation stage for children aged 0-5 years, a good understanding of safeguarding and the Ofsted statutory requirements.

A level 2 would be considered for the post but would not be able to take on a supervisory role.
