Robert Half Technology are assisting a global Civil Engineering organisation based in London to recruit a AWS Infrastructure Engineer paying £375-£475 per day

**Role**
- The AWS Infrastructure Engineer will be developing the app in sprints based on the Product Backlog and in regular consultation with the client on a 'live' basis
- Understanding and communicating progress on development of features according to the Product Backlog internally and use the Backlog as a key reference to manage and prioritise development work on the new ADS Capture Module
- Participating in weekly check-ins with the client-side team or as required by the Product Manager providing progress updates, showcasing work done or underway and obtaining relevant user-side information to resolve issues and address risks
- Participating in sprint reviews
- Maintaining infrastructure related Issue /Error Log throughout the duration of the assignment on a 'live' basis
- Planning and delivering work to the project work plan maintained by the Product Manager reporting clear start and finish dates for various work packages and phases on a 'live' basis

**Profile**
- The AWS Infrastructure Engineer will have experience in provision, operations and maintenance of PaaS /IaaS cloud native environments for enterprise mobile apps throughout the full lifecycle - from initial design to release
- Knowledge of cloud computing and design considerations for iOS mobile app environment
- Strong understanding of core Amazon infrastructure e.g. CloudFormation, IAM, VPC, EC2, RDS, S3 + more
- Expertise of AWS in a serverless context e.g. use of AWS SAM, Serverless, CloudFormation, APIGateway, Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB
- Knowledge of configuration management systems, such as: Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or related systems
- Expertise in microservice based architectures
- Experience in migration of on-premise servers to AWS environment
