We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Junior Project Manager to join our team. You will need to Methodical and organised, unprepared to accept the status quo and always seeking to significantly improve, change or adaptexisting methods and techniques.
As the Junior Project Manager, you will provide support to Project and Programme Managers who are responsible for delivering change projects, take responsibility for developing and owning key artefacts, manage own deliveries to demanding and often conflictingdeadlines. Work alongside a range of stakeholders to drive forward improvements to the Change Framework, promoting market best practice.
With this role you will enjoy a hybrid working model, combining working from home with some days in our Stepchange office in Leeds City Centre. Occasional travel will be required to other sites, also flexibility is required for implementation activities duringout of hours times.
**What you will be doing**
- Lead change projects and workstreams throughout the change lifecycle, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, cost, quality and timescales, effectively managing conflicting deadlines and priorities with multiple stakeholders
- Define and deliver any/all stages of the project life cycle and obtain acceptance by encouraging ownership to the approach from all stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to the change management framework across all project activities and make recommendations to the framework's ongoing development
- Identify key project stakeholders and develop appropriate stakeholder management plans, executing and overseeing different activities where appropriate
- Work collaboratively with Programme/Project Manager, sponsor and other colleagues to ensure robust understanding of project purpose/value and ensure that benefits can be realised
- Produce and maintain project management deliverables including the project plan, action trackers, resource forecast, budget tracker, RAIDD logs, contingency plans, etc.
- Track progress against the project plan and assist with implementing strategies to recover time or budget slippage, as required, maintaining adherence to change controls
- Provide leadership, direction and development as required within the context of a small project team
- Manage and direct delivery from third party providers wherever the project/workstream requires it
