**The Role**

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us as a Lifetime Mortgage Product Manager here at Just.

Within this Role you will own the deployment of all retirement lending products provided by and funded by the Just Group.

You will manage and develop the lending products to support the delivery of the retail proposition strategy and business plan. Lead the documentation and delivery of existing LTM product enhancements including new product variants and features for all Justfunded and third party funded product lines, including development of new products, variants and features developed through third party lenders.

This position is based from our Reigate Office in Surrey and although going forward we will be taking more of a Hybrid approach to working, we would expect you to be able to commute to the Office as required.

**You will**
- Own the ongoing monitoring, analysis and reporting on competitor and market trends to identify and propose enhancements to the existing product and market positioning in line with the retail proposition strategy and business plan.
- Identify and support the development and implementation of new lending product initiatives within the retirement lending market in order to gain and maintain competitive advantage, ensuring products remain compliant with regulations and legislation and appropriatefor the target market.
- Develop formal specifications, business cases and documents in line with Group product development procedure for the retirement lending propositions.
- Own the product and proposition developments in line with the product lifecycle management framework.
- Own the production of the annual product reviews for both the own brand and closed book products.
- Lead the delivery of new retirement lending products and substantial enhancements to existing products
- Produce and own product MI for internal and external reporting.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the retirement lending sector, the market environment and relative competitive positioning of the Just Group's own brand lending product.
- Produce monthly and ad hoc product MI providing oversight of the current performance of the product suite and positioning in the market.
- Monitor and report on competitor and market activity.
- Act as retirement lending SME and product champion.
- Answer product technical queries for both own brand and funded product lines.
- Work closely with project teams and other parts of the Just Retirement Group to ensure successful implementation of new products and product enhancements.
- Monitor product use, complaints and other MI points to ensure the product is sold to, and continues to meet, target customers and addressing any indicators of concern including identifying any areas of conduct risk.
- Understand and implement any regulatory or legislative changes affecting the product.
- Contribute to the development of the retirement lending strategy through market insight and data and competitor knowledge.
- Support both the Pricing Manager and Proposition Development Analyst in period of absence and adhoc.

**You are**
- Knowledgeable of the UK Financial Services marketplace in general, including having a good understanding of mortgage products, policies and processes.
- Aware of the Mortgage Conduct of Business and have a working knowledge of these Rules.
- Able to work under pressure, in a fast moving environment, to tight deadlines.
- Able to negotiate/influence key internal and external stakeholders.
- Engaging and have strong presentation skills.
- Creative in areas such as product development and the marketing of these products
- Experienced within the residential mortgage industry and have an in depth knowledge of retirement lending products, regulatory implications and their mechanics.
- Experienced in mortgage product management and pricing, as well as having a proven understanding of the commerciality of mortgage products.
- Experienced of developing and taking a new product to market.
- Experienced in/have a strong understanding of all distribution channels.
