Assistant Logistician

**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- Vocational training at middle level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent, or Diploma of secondary education in Supply, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management with 3 years of experience;
- Experience in:

- Working with Supply Databases;
- Inventorying CIS Equipment for accountability and accuracy;
- Identifying and correcting Asset Management Deficiencies.

**Duties/role**:

- Assisting in:

- The administration and maintenance of NCIA CIS Assets Property Accounting Records for NCIA Entities and External Customers;
- Meeting Customer requirements within Service Level Agreements (SLA);
- The conduction of Annual Inventory Inspections in accordance Agency Directives and coordinated with CIS Points of Contacts (CISPOCS) in NCIA Entities and External Customers;
- NCIA Entities and External Customers in the Requisitioning, Receipt, Storage, Distribution, Exchange, Movement and Disposal of CIS Assets;
- Assisting with CIS equipment discrepancies to be fully investigated, documented, and reported in accordance with NCIA directives;
- Coordinating closely with technicians to ensure that the correct CIS equipment is requested to satisfy the user's requirement;
- Being responsible for Asset Management transaction requests and following NCIA Directives and CSSC Standard Operating Procedures for ordering CIS equipment;
- Liaising closely with internal Section Heads and providing assistance as required;
- Working on own initiative with limited supervision;
- Deputizing for higher grade staff, if required;
- Performing other duties as may be required.
