We are looking for a Gym Team Leader to join us on our exciting journey as we transform our business from Good to Great. This is an extremely exciting time for the business and this role will be play a key part in helping us achieve success.

The ideal person will be a fitness industry professional with extensive operational experience.

The main focus of the role will be to Supervise the gym team and the gym facilities.

**What does the role involve?**

A hands-on role that requires you to:

- To effectively and efficiently supervise the gym operations and gym staff
- To proactively drive the gym membership levels forwards
- To reduce attrition using industry knowledge and by keeping abreast of industry trends
- To ensure the gym staff provide exceptional customer service
- To ensure the gym facilities are presented at the highest level of cleanliness
- To initiate, present, agree and implement new ideas
- To promote positivity and professionalism throughout the gym teams** Other**
- Commercially controls spend within specific remit, working creatively and in a SMART way to reduce both overall costs whilst increasing efficiency
- To ensure a comprehensive understanding of the Normal Operating Procedures and the Emergency Action Procedure and take action as necessary
- Responsible for minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers
- To perform other duties as assigned or requested in order to meet the needs of the business** Skills and competencies**:

**This role will be based at our Head Office at Havant but will be expected to travel to other company site as the need requires.**
