A Food Service Assistant is needed at this Independent School to work alongside our Prep School Catering Team to ensure an efficient daily service to our pupils, guests and colleagues over the lunchtime period. The main duties will include working in a small team to ensure the daily tasks of serving on the counter, washing up, clearing away, wiping down surfaces and mopping floors are carried out.

The successful applicant must have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude towards customer service, including working with young people, together with an interest in food service and the associated duties of working in a kitchen environment. It is important that you are able to work well with others and are able to carry out a range of catering and cleaning duties within a busy environment to ensure an excellent daily food service.

This role is a permanent position working from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays (34 weeks per year) and from 9:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays (24 weeks per year).
