We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Retail Assistant to join the team in our Houghton Hall Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay range from £9.00 to £10.46 dependent on age.
The hours for this position are 41.5 hours per week over 5 days including regular weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.
**The Role**
As a General Retail Assistant, you have a responsibility to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.
**What you will be doing as a General Retail Assistant?**
- Till operation and serving customer
- Stock replenishment and merchandising across all the furniture & Seasonal departments
- Creating and maintaining fabulous product displays
- Assisting our customer across the Centre taking every opportunity to WOW.
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
- Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
**What makes you our perfect General Retail Assistant?**
- Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service.
- Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- Strong customer service skills.
