Customer Despatch

**ROLE OVERVIEW** As a Customer Despatch and Logistics Advisor, you will play a critical role in assisting with customer orders being processed, fully paid, and despatched to the customers’ requirements. You will ensure that all despatches are updated with the required information in the system. You will also assist in actioning customer returns which are passed through from the customer services team and work with the warehouse team to resolve problems with materials returned to the warehouse without the required paperwork. You will act as a support function between departments, ensuring that all customer orders are shipped as soon as possible when stock is available and in line with the customer's requested delivery dates. You will endeavour to ensure that the customer is expecting, and ready to receive the despatch before adding to pick to minimise instances of returns due to stock being despatched before the customer wants the stock. You will also seek to minimise the number of despatches per order. **QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE** - Proactive and solutions focussed. - Keen attention to detail. - General knowledge of plumbing and electrical sector. - The ability to interpret data. - Effective communication skills written and verbal. - Ability to meet deadlines. - Sound decision-making. - Working on your initiative or collaboratively. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Assisting with the process of confirming customer payments and, in line with customer requirements, moving orders into the "to be picked" status. - Liaise with customers as to outstanding payments. - Monitor orders in pick status to ensure completion and shipment. - Oversee daily fraud checks and report on any that fail checks. - As required, check and amend the delivery addresses of customers. - Review paperwork for international shipments and issue a copy to the customer. - Monitor the returns log (aka Savona log) and, in cooperation with the supply team, reduce the open lines on the log. - Update customers as to delivery date changes based on the container shipping log. - Work with the Supply team to correct 3PL delivery errors. - Monitor customer hold until dates. - Work closely with the customer service team to investigate complaints and queries. - Assist in approving customer returns for refunds and correspond with them regarding store credit. - Assist in correspondence with customers regarding damaged returns and action returned items. - Assist as required with implementation of Lusso's new ERP system, Microsoft Business Central. - Support with any administrative work within the wider Supply team. **ABOUT LUSSO** Lusso Stone is an international high-end luxury brand with British Heritage.
